LEO IN SAFARI

This happened a year back when my brother decided to go on safari at Tadoba in Maharashtra. He was accompanied by his wife, his brother- in-law , & brother in laws better half and his very special pet Leo, his faithful Labrador along for his company..

One day Leo starts chasing butterflies and before long he discovers , he's lost. so, wandering about he notices a leopard heading rapidly in his direction with the obvious intention of having lunch.
Leo whispers , " I am in deep doo doo  now".
Then he noticed some bones on ground close by , immediately settles down chewing the leg bone with his back to the approaching cat.
The leopard is about to leap when the Labrador screams loudly," man he is delicious cat , i wonder there are many more around here?"
Hearing all this, the leopard halts his attack on mid stride as fear of terror  comes over him and vanishes away in the jungle." whew ", said the leopard," i was so close. That dog  nearly had me.".
Meanwhile the monkey who was the witness  of the ongoing scene from a near by tree, figures  he can put this knowledge to good use and trade it for protection from the leopard. so off he goes.
Leo saw the monkey heading after the leopard with great speed and figured that something must be cooked up by monkey.
Monkey is seen catching up with the leopard, spills the beans and strikes the deal with leopard.
The cat is furious at being made a fool  of and says," Here monkey hop on my back and see whats gonna happen to the conniving canine."
Leo thinks what  am i going to do now?"
Instead of running, the dog sits down with his back to his attackers pretending he has not seen them yet.
And when they get close enough to hear, the dog says," where is that monkey.  i just can never trust him. i sent him off half an hour ago to bring me another leopard and he's   not back.
Just then, when the documentary  was ending on the  idiot box, Leo was seen wiggling his tail  and his eyes lighted watching t.v in a view that he was the protagonist of the documentary  on national geography.
My brother pats his back and tells him "i am proud of you Leo"
